Cyprus Jobs is a job board. It exists so that people in Cyprus can find work and employers can find staff. It is not a social network, it has no messaging between members, no photo or video sharing, and no public feed.
We have no tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), or for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), anywhere on this site or in our app. This page sets out our standards, as required by Google Play’s Child Safety Standards policy.
What is not allowed
The following are prohibited on Cyprus Jobs, without exception:
- Child sexual abuse material, in any form, in any field of the site or app
- Any advertisement, job listing, message or CV that sexualises a minor, or that solicits, offers or arranges the sexual exploitation of a minor
- Using a vacancy, an application or a company profile to make contact with a minor for any sexual purpose, or to groom, traffic or exploit a child
- Any listing for work that is unlawful for a minor to perform, or that is a front for exploitation
How to report a concern
If you see anything on Cyprus Jobs that raises a child safety concern, tell us. You do not need an account and you do not need to be certain.
- Email [email protected] with the subject Child safety. Include a link to the listing or profile if you can.
- From the app, open Account → Contact us and describe what you saw.
- From this website, use the contact form.
Reports about child safety are read before anything else in the inbox.
What we do about it
- Every vacancy is reviewed before it appears. Job listings on Cyprus Jobs are not published automatically; they are moderated first. This is our main defence, because it means prohibited content is caught before anyone can see it.
- We remove and preserve. Content that breaches these standards is removed, and the account behind it is closed. We preserve the material and the account records for law enforcement rather than destroying them.
- We report to the authorities. Apparent child sexual abuse material is reported to the Cyprus Police Office for Combating Cybercrime, and, where the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) accepts reports from our jurisdiction, to NCMEC. We comply with Cyprus and EU law on the reporting and retention of such material.
- We cooperate. We respond to lawful requests from law enforcement investigating offences against children.
