IT Officer

Our client, a Cyprus-based Payment Institution that provides bespoke currency solutions, including multi-currency international payments, hedging products for its corporate clientele, and multi-platform currency trading, seeks to hire an IT Officer in Nicosia.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the IT Manager of the company

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain the Company’s PC’s, Servers and other Network hardware in working condition and Troubleshooting
• Perform updates, backups, restoration, migration and upgrades
• Setup and Configuration of IT related systems
• Communication with Vendors
• Supervising the implementation of IT related projects
• Communicating with Internal Auditors
• Perform any related work as assigned

Candidate Profile

• Preferably a degree in a Computer Science or related subject,
• 2-3 years of related job experience
• Knowledge of C++ will be considered as an advantage
• Willing to learn and eager to work
• Be fluent in Greek and English language
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Team player
• Ability to work under pressure

Specific knowledge of the below:

• Hands on experience on computer set up
• TCP/IP stack and networking
• SQL Database Administration
• MS Active Directory Services
• Virtualization Environments
• Firewall Administration
