Senior Accountant

Job Description

Our client, known for their exceptional services and their leading position in the Hospitality sector, is currently seeking to recruit a skilled Senior Accountant to join their expanding team in Limassol.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Payroll preparation
• Proper bookkeeping
• Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• VAT Reporting, Invoicing, Payments and Bank Reconciliation 
• Assist and manage the department team towards the accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end preparation of the accounting and financial statements 
• Develop and implement procedures that require the adequate level of control
• Oversee the Accounting Department operation and ensure the smooth running by assisting and implementing efficient procedures

Candidate Profile

• Holder of LCCI Higher, Degree in Accounting will be considered an advantage
• Knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IASs) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and updates in reporting
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong organizational, analytical, prioritization, time management and calendar management skills
