Job Responsibilities
- Undertaking major IT projects
- Following up with latest technologies and Information-Technology-related legislation
- Proactively managing the Company’s needs in terms of software and hardware
- Closely coordinating with the Head of Departments and managerial staff
- Installing and configuring computer systems
- Diagnosing and solving hardware & software faults
- Participating in the compilation and maintenance of an accurate record of hardware and software
- Providing daily support to IT-related requests
- Acting as a liaison and coordinator of all IT-related vendors
- Acting as a liaison and coordinator of all maintenance vendors (Generator, Air-Conditioners, Lifts, Electricians, etc.)
- Performing physical monitoring of services provided by all vendors
- Traveling to company branches, island-wide, as to provide support, when required
- Participating in training and coaching sessions for Continuous Learning and Development
Requirements
- Technical school leaving certificate or university degree in Information Technology
- Knowledge of hardware and peripherals
- Knowledge of Networking & Cisco Telephony, CCNA Certification will be considered an advantage
- Windows Server 2008 configuration
- Knowledge of Java and HTML
- Knowledge of IT Ticketing will be considered an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
- Must have flexibility and adaptability
- Willing to learn new technologies and techniques
- Able to excel in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills are required
