DevOps Engineer

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a newly established company operating in the Online Gaming sector, we are seeking to recruit a DevOps Engineer to join their team of professionals in Nicosia. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 3+ years of professional DevOps experience and be fluent in English. Knowledge of the Russian language will be considered a significant advantage.

• Ensure High Availability of the backend system running 24/7.
• Building CI / CD processes based on Gitlab / Jenkins / Ansible.
• Automate the code testing and deployment process.
• Server maintenance and data backup.
• Optimize the backend for high performance and scalability.
• Improve workflows for staging and production deployments.
• Keeping documentation up-to-date (deployment documentation).
• Setup Monitoring  (Zabbix / Prometheus) and Error Reporting channels.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of professional DevOps experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux server operating systems (Debian / Ubuntu/ CentOS) at the administrator level.
• Setting up services in Linux environment, such as ELK, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis.
• Good knowledge of networking (DNS, DHCP TCP/IP, routing, services and security).
• Experience with Version Control Software (Git preferred).
• Strong scripting and automation of Bash, AWK & Python.
• Knowledge of relational DBMS (PostgreSQL / MySQL).
• Deep expertise and hands-on experience with container and container orchestration technologies such as Docker, Docker Swarm.
• Good hands-on knowledge of configuration management and deployment tools such as: Ansible/Puppet/Chef/Terraform etc.
• Setup Monitoring and Error Reporting channels.
• Russian language would be considered an advantage.
