Infrastructure Engineer
Job Overview
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a newly established company operating in the Online Gaming sector, we are seeking to recruit an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team of professionals in Nicosia. The successful applicant will have previous relevant and demonstrable professional experience and be fluent in both Russian and English.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Implement and administer Windows and Linux servers. This includes the administration and management of systems, security, monitoring, and documentation.
- Network management (LAN, WAN), including configuring, monitoring and migrating, either wired or wireless.
- Manage and deploy new application.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation to ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of HP server hardware and knowledge of HP storage (MSA, EVA, 3PAR).
- Experience in administering OS Linux, Windows.
- Advanced understanding of virtualization platforms and shared storage technology (VMware).
- Experience with the database.
- Experience in administering the Zabbix monitoring system.
- Understanding the principles of IP telephony.
- Understanding the ITIL methodology.
- Clear written and verbal English and Russian communication skills related to technical systems and operation.
