Windows System Administrator
Job Overview
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a newly established company operating in the Online Gaming sector, we are seeking to recruit an Windows System Administrator to join their team of professionals in Nicosia. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 5+ years of systems administration within a Windows Server Environment and be fluent in English. Knowledge of the Russian language will be considered a significant advantage.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Configuration and support for windows-servers.
- Configuring Group Policy.
- Security settings.
- Configure Windows software monitoring.
- Customization and deployment of software written by partner development teams.
- Issues of restricting user access to applications, connections and files in a terminal environment.
Key Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years in the administration of Windows Server Environment.
- Good understanding of HTTP, TCP, routing.
- Experience in configuring Active Directory and group policies (~ 500 users / ~ 1000 machines).
- Skills for writing Batch / Powershell scripts yourself (with conditions, loops, variables).
- Knowledge of console commands.
- Ability to find workaround solutions in difficult situations.
- Programming skills in other languages are welcome.
- Knowledge of English at the level for reading English-language documentation and above.
