Job Overview
Our client is a Global Shipping Services Company and they are looking to hire a Technical Manager to join their team based in Limassol.
Responsibilities:
In charge of the technical activities & maintenance operations of the company’s fleet.
Supervising the technical team
Overseeing daily operations of the ships
On-going & dry dock maintenance & repairs, budgeting, internal and external audits, surveys, etc.
Requirements:
University Degree in Marine Engineering or any other relevant degree.
Minimum ten years of experience as Technical Manager or Technical Superintendent in a shipping company
Experience with tanker ship management will be considered as an advantage
Minimum three years of sea-going experience
Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
Team player and team-building ability
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong English and good Greek communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong computer literacy
