IT Systems Administrator (Part-Time)
Job Overview
CareerFinders, on behalf our client, a CySEC Licensed Investment Firm with offices in the heart of Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit an experienced and technically strong IT Systems Administrator to join their expanding team of professionals. The successful applicant will have previous, demonstrable experience in line with the requirements below and be willing and able to work approximately 25-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Installation, maintenance of operating systems, equipment and applications in the field of activity of the company, according to existing documentation, procedures and rules.
- Monitoring and ensuring the functionality of the computer network.
- Resolving incidents assigned / reported by colleagues, according to the area of responsibility.
- Collaboration with co-workers to solve their requirements.
- Making activity reports according to the company’s regulations.
- Fulfilling the roles and responsibilities that are assigned, as part of a project, in accordance with the job description and / or with the indications received from the department manager.
- Administrating Customer Relationship Management Systems.
- Managing users and ensuring company’s system security.
- Collaborating and/or leading technical projects according to company’s requirements.
- Managing sensitive system account information.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Educated to degree level in Computer Science or related field.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and suites, on cloud and on premises (Linux is an advantage).
- Experience in working with IT equipment (routers, switches, servers, PC’s, laptops, etc).
- Experience in working with MS Servers (2012, 2016, 2019) is an advantage.
- Experience in administrating CRMs could be an advantage.
- Experience in Office 365 Suite.
- A good understanding of networking systems (OSI, TCP / IP models, routers, firewalls, VPN, etc).
- Oriented towards solving technical problems and the ability to easily accumulate information in this field.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential.
- Ability to work in a team.
