Job Description

A leading payment software company currently have a great opportunity for a Java Developer to join their Nicosia office. This is a top ranked Fintech company with a professional approach to business with a vibrant office environment. The company specialises in software development which it has been providing to its clients for the last twenty plus years. The successful candidate must have good experience with java development.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop new and support existing custom code
• Support team in problem analysis and solving
• Prepare documentation

Candidate Profile

• A degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Professional experience: IT area – at least 3 years
• Knowledge of Java SE, С++ or some other OOP programming language
• Knowledge of SQL, understanding of structure and main principles of database relations
• Interested in studying business subject area, tools and technologies of software development
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including to communicate technical ideas clearly effectively and convincingly
• Ability to work in teams and with people of varying abilities and backgrounds
• Ability to work with geographically distributed teams
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and correctly
• Able to troubleshoot and identify technical issues quickly
