Job Overview
Our Client, an international Technology company based overseas is looking to recruit a methodical Business Analyst to join their team. The company has been in operation since 1998 and has its software focusing on the Business Intelligence in the Travel sector. The successful candidate will be home based and will report to the Tech Team Leaders Overseas.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions.
- Design new computer software by analysing requirements.
- Improves systems by studying current practices.
- Recommends controls by identifying problems.
- Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget.
- Monitors project progress by tracking activity.
- Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
- Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.
- Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Problem solving complex scenarios to create optimum solutions for clients.
- Project manage all developments together with the Developers and the client.
- Manage all functional and user documentation .
- Support relating to the developed software or other systems that are part of the solution.
- Manage new client implementations and training.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Previous experience as Business Analyst.
- Experience in Technical Writing.
- Experience in communicating with clients and facilitating workshops.
- Logical and Critical Thinking.
- Professional communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
