Job Overview
On behalf of a well-established and international service provider, GRS are seeking to recruit a Human Resources Executive to join their growing office in Limassol. For this position we are looking for a self-motivated candidate with a passion for process and organisation. You will be working directly with a large recruitment and HR team and help support overseas personal. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct all HR related tasks, such as crew / maritime security operatives planning, assignment, sign on / off, flights coordination, payrolls, etc. in an effective and efficient manner.
- Provide maritime sec. operatives, management, clients and agents with a responsive and professional point of contact for all HR related matters.
- Check, verify and update crew / maritime sec. operatives documentation, data and qualifications in compliance with applicable legislations and laws.
- Collaborate and coordinate efficiently with the colleagues of HR department and other departments to ensure company policies and procedures are followed, all tasks are properly accomplished and maintain / promote an ethical and compliant working environment.
- Liaise and cooperate regularly and as required with shipping agents, contractors, vessels, ship managers to ensure HR matters are properly and efficiently handled.
- Act and respond immediately to whatever HR issues raised, according to job description and company guidelines.
- Ensure that all tasks are carried out as per company policies and procedures, in compliance with ILO, ISM, ISPS, ISO requirements, and respective laws and regulations.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Very good communication, personnel management and coaching, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Dynamic and responsible individual with the ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team
- Previous background and experience in HR sector, in shipping or crewing companies
- Knowledge of the maritime industry and applicable Rules and Regulations
- Excellent command of the English language
- Proficiency in PC applications / suites (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
