Job Overview
GRS are working closely with a well-established and well-known broker in Nicosia who are on the search for a Head of Brokerage. The successful candidate will be responsible for the combined Reception Transmission and Execution of Orders and must be able to monitor the smooth operation of the MT4 platform against clients and liquidity providers. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keeping up-to-date with market information and monitoring trends in all major trading symbols offered by the Company
- Quoting, confirming and transmitting client trades in line with company’s policies and procedures
- Interacting with clients and providing technical support in areas relating to trading execution
- Updating and supporting colleagues from other departments as required
- Work consultatively and in close coordination with the respective Group offices
- Identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Candidate should have the CySEC certificate, 2-3 years of experience at least in a similar position and also be acquainted and knowledgeable with the MT4 Administration etc.
- Previous experience in a Forex company is a must.
- Holder of a CySEC related qualification
- Proficiency in different trading platforms would be considered as advantageous
- Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Good personality with strong desire to learn and self- development and commitment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
- Strong work ethics to meet regulatory requirements and management expectations
- Educated to degree level or the equivalent
- Strong team player to work with a team of specialists
