Client Accountant, Limassol
Job Overview
An established Audit & Accounting Services Provider to both local and international clients, is seeking to recruit a highly capable and self-motivated Client Accountant to join an expanding team of professionals based in Limassol.
Responsibilities:
- Handle accounting and bookkeeping requirements on behalf of a portfolio of clients
- Preparation of Management Accounts and Reports on behalf of clients
- Preparation of payroll and social contribution payments/compliance
- Preparation of tax returns (income tax, defence tax)
- Review of business and accounting transactions
- Preparation of VAT returns and handling VAT issues
- Process various accounting and banking reconciliations
Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- Any relevant accounting qualification will be considered as an advantage (LCCI, CAT, ACCA etc)
- 2+ years of relevant experience is a must as a Client Bookkeeper/Accountant
- Knowledge and practical experience in VAT laws, regulations and circulars
- Knowledge and practical experience in social insurance contributions laws and payroll administration
- Excellent client service, communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Results & Deadline orientated
- Adaptability and resilience, efficiency, ability and initiative
- Integrity, professionalism and trustworthiness
- Fluency in Greek and English (Written & Spoken)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Strong analytical and numeric skills coupled with attention to detail
