Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and maintain adequate policies and procedures for the branch
• Utilize software for treating alerts in relation to new Directives, Legislations relating to banks in Cyprus
• Contribute in the development of the Bank’s policy towards the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing, in the process of improving internal procedures and to develop a more vigilant approach
• Communicate with authorities such as the Central bank of Cyprus, Commissioner of Data Protection or other, in relation to the branch’s needs
• Prepare reports that relate to regulatory reporting by the respective authorities
• Become involved in any ad-hoc projects and advise the branch manager on requirements and status
• Assess the impact of any forthcoming regulations issued on Local and EU level
• Ensure all the branch’s departments are fully aware and implement its policies and procedures
• Undertake projects or perform duties, as directed by the Branch Manager

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 4 years’ relevant working experience
• University degree in Law, Economics, Business Finance or another related field
• Fluent both in English and Greek (written and verbal)
• Computer literal, knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point
• Good communication skills
• Team player and self-motivated
