Job Description
An established FinTech company developing 6 in-house products for international markets.
We are looking for a detailed-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our team in Paphos. This role is designed for a candidate eager to build a solid career in FinTech project management.
Your journey will begin with a deep dive into our core product architecture and custom CRM system by resolving operational incidents and support tickets. Once you master our business logic, algorithms, and workflows, you will transition to managing and coordinating 1 of our 6 flagship FinTech projects.
Location: Paphos, Cyprus
Format: 5/2, 100% On-site (Remote or Hybrid formats are strictly not available)
Salary: €1,800 – €2,200 net per month
Probation Period: 1 month
Responsibilities
Phase 1: Month 1 (Probation Period — Product Deep Dive)
– Resolve internal support tickets and user inquiries related to the CRM system.
– Investigate operational incidents: identify root causes for failed transactions or stuck applications.
– Master the underlying business logic, loan issuance algorithms, and CRM architecture.
Phase 2: Month 2–3 onwards (Project Management)
– Coordinate and support day-to-day operations for 1 of the company’s 6 FinTech projects.
– Drive cross-functional collaboration: set tasks and track deadlines across Development, Marketing, Risk, and Support teams.
– Retrieve data using SQL, compile operational reports, and perform basic data analysis in MS Excel.
– Identify process bottlenecks and propose actionable hypotheses for workflow optimization.
Requirements
Legal & Location Requirements (Mandatory):
Work Permit: Existing, valid right to work in Cyprus (EU Passport, Temporary Protection, Cyprus Permanent Residency, or Spouse Residency with full work authorization).
Location: Must already be based in or near Paphos, Cyprus.
Professional Skills & Experience:
MS Excel: Upper-intermediate level (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data filtering, basic formulas).
SQL: Basic working knowledge (ability to write simple queries to extract data independently).
Domain Understanding: Clear grasp of CRM workflow logic and basic FinTech/transactional product economics.
Languages: Native or C1/C2 Fluent Russian (all internal communication and documentation are conducted in Russian). English is not required for daily tasks.
Personal Qualities: Strong analytical logic, high attention to detail, and a constructive approach toward starting with routine support/investigation tasks.
