Junior Tax Consultant- Indirect Taxation VAC-18886N

Job Description

Our client is a large and very well established professional services company providing audit, tax, accounting, legal, consulting and financial advisory services to international companies and they are looking to hire a Junior Tax Consultant- Indirect Taxation for their offices based in Nicosia or Limassol.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

Assume indirect taxation (VAT) assignments under close supervision from senior staff
Prepare VAT computations
Work with other staff on specific assignments and projects
Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
Other VAT compliance and advisory related assignments
Undertake some administration duties required as part of the job
Direct communication with clients and the Cyprus Tax Department

Candidate Profile

UK University graduates with at least an upper second-class honors degree (2.1)
USA Universities with at least 3.0 GPA
University of Cyprus and/or Cyprus University of Technology graduates with at least 7.5 GPA
Greek University Graduates with at least 7.5 GPA
Private or Other University graduates with at least 3.0 GPA or equivalent grade
Excellent analytical and written communication skills in both Greek and English languages.
IT literate
Should be capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting established goals & objectives within the specific deadline, while maintaining high quality at all times.
Enthusiastic Team player
Should be willing to perform research, read and understand the Cyprus VAT related Legislation, and the EU VAT Legislation.
