Job Overview
An established Financial Services company based in Limassol, is seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager (Payments). The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a Business Development role within the Payments Solutions or Financial Services. This a great opportunity for someone who has great communication and sales skills.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead generation (Contacting prospects via phone, e-mail, personal, and business networks)
- Built multi-level decision making relationships with your prospects
- Consistently deliver revenue towards targets set by sales management
- Sell ePayment’s services within assigned region and/or vertical
- Negotiate complex commercial and contractual terms
- Represent the organization at selected industry events
- Travel consistently (approx. 30%) in the region to conduct face to face meetings
- Project manage customers as they move through the sales cycle, with a strong focus on reducing time to market
- Manage expectations of clients and internal stakeholders through clear communication
- Strong advisory role on e-commerce developments in the region and the vertical market
- Forecasting to sales management
- Build out and maintain your pipeline and opportunities accurately
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or any other relevant field
- At least 3 years of proven new business sales track record in an international and quota carrying B2B sales role
- B2B consultative sales experience is required
- Exposure or familiarity with technological and financial concepts
- Prior experience in the payments industry or SaaS is a plus
- Sector experience in a key vertical market is a plus (travel/forex/iGaming/digital goods and services)
- Advanced verbal and written Business English language skills
- Preferably multi-lingual (additional language relevant in the region is a plus)
- Strong mathematical skills (intelligence test will be part of the selection process)
- Comfortable with Excel and the use of CRM tools
- Candidates are expected to be conversant in payments and technology and have a solid understanding of the e-commerce landscape
