Network & Security Administrator, Limassol

Our client, a well-established Investment Firm located in Limassol, is looking to hire a Network & Security Administrator.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, tuning and administration of switches, firewalls, wireless access points, network segmentations and internet lines
• Installing and managing monitoring, security and logging solutions
• Administration and maintenance of Linux servers.
• Maintain the relevant systems documentation
• Recommend solutions, products, and technologies to meet business objectives
• Troubleshoot networking and security issues
• Performs schedule updates and patches on systems
• Performs schedule failover tests
• Installation, configuration and administration of IDS/IPS, web filtering, computer monitoring, QoS, anti-spam, DLP, VPNs, setup encryption techniques on mobile devices such as mobiles and laptops
• Leads and coordinates internal/external penetration/vulnerability projects and tests
• Audits the network, security policies, systems and prepares business cases for improvements
• Manage, coordinates and reports security incidents
• Responsible for the security awareness program. Prepares training and information material for the stuff in assistance with the HR function. Performs user security awareness tests.
• Assist and coordinates with other IT professionals for design, configuration and change requests
• Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice.
• Reports to IT Operations Managers

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Security or any other related field
• Professional qualifications related to security and networks
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position
• Hands on experience in security technologies
• Proven knowledge and expertise in various operating systems and networking tools
• Experience with Fortigates, Juniper and AWS would be considered an advantage
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools would be considered an advantage
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communications and teamworking skills
• Good oral and writing English
