One of the global leaders in energy storage terminals in Larnaca, are working with GRS to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer. The successful candidate will have an electrical engineering background in Oil & Gas and a minimum of 5 years technical experience. Main duties And Responsibilities

• Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests
• Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications and by calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements
• Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities and resolving problems
• Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes. Recommends actions
• Control project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts
• Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Recommends actions; Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and by discussing with management
• Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, reviewing bids from contractors
• Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards. Completes technical studies and prepares cost estimates; Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
• Maintain project data base by writing computer programs, entering and backing up data
• Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations
• Create and maintain company AS – BUILT documentation
• Carry out related duties as assigned, such as, ensures the observance of safety and fire regulations, good housekeeping, and ensures material is salvaged and reconditioned wherever possible and proposes improvements
• Attend HSE and toolbox meetings and submit his/her input
• Review bid proposals for accuracy and scope of work alignment and make award recommendations
• Manage the overall project
• Monitor vendor/contractor work quality and mitigate poor performance issues
• Provide input for upcoming preventative maintenance needs to be inserted into the budget process
• Assist the analysis of root cause of chronic maintenance issues at a Terminal level and makes recommendations to budget for CAPEX improvements or major expense projects;
• Follow Company rules and regulations at all times

Candidate Profile

• Educated in Electrical Engineering
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas within Electrical Engineering
• Fluent in English and Greek
