🚀 We’re Hiring: Summer Intern – Operations, Business Development & EU Funding

Achilles-DS Ltd is looking for a motivated Summer Intern to support our growing activities in EU funding, innovation, business development, operations, and company administration.

This is a great opportunity for a student or recent graduate who wants hands-on experience inside a deep-tech company working in areas such as space advanced engineering systems.

📍 Location: Walled Old City of Nicosia, at the C-SpaRC premises

🕒 Duration: Summer Internship

💼 Role: On-site / in-person

What you will support

You will assist with:

• EU, ESA, RIF, Horizon Europe, and national funding proposal preparation

• Research on funding calls, eligibility rules, deadlines, and proposal requirements

• Business plan drafting and documentation for innovation-related applications

• Preparation for future Horizon Europe / Bridge2Horizon opportunities

• Company documentation, internal policies, HR-related procedures, and templates

• Organisation of company files and document control through SharePoint

• Bookkeeping support, invoice and quotation organisation

• Procurement of office equipment, supplier communication, and comparison tables

• General office administration and operational support

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate should have:

• Professional written English, fluent speaker in Greek and English

• Strong organisation and attention to detail

• Good research and documentation skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

• Interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, EU funding, space, defence, AI, or advanced technology

• Ability to work responsibly on administrative, operational, and documentation tasks

A background in Business Administration, Economics, Innovation, Engineering Management, European Studies, Accounting & Finance, Human Resources, Public Administration, or a related field would be suitable.

Previous experience with EU funding, proposal writing, HR policy preparation, SharePoint document management, bookkeeping, procurement, or business plan preparation would be considered an advantage, but is not essential.
