Senior Accountant

Job Description

Our client, an international accounting and tax advisory office is expanding its business to Cyprus opening a Branch in Limassol and therefore looking for an Accountant (certified CPA/ACCA or similar).

Their financial teams in Vienna and Moscow have grown and developed into a team of strong professionals and they are currently looking for a first professional at the Limassol Branch.

The successful candidate should be proactive and have at least 3 years of demonstrated relevant work experience in an Accounting/Bookkeeping role.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Daily bookkeeping and recording of transactions in the accounting system
• Reconciliations of bank accounts and clearing companies
• Very experienced knowledge of annual financial statements
• Payroll preparation (calculation of payroll, tax and SI)
• VAT calculation and form submission

Candidate Profile

• University degree holder in Accounting and Finance or in another relevant field
• CPA, ACCA or similar; best with some audit experience
• At least 3 years of demonstrated work experience in an Accounting/Bookkeeping role
• Excellent command of English language both verbal and written, any additional foreign language is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel (formulas, spreadsheet formulation)
• Ability to work individually and proactive
