Compliance Officer

Our client is an investment company based in Cyprus that provides a full range of brokerage services in the international stock markets and foreign exchange, regulated by the Cyprus Securities Exchange Commission. They are currently looking for a Compliance Officer – the ideal candidate would have experience in a CySEC environment for around 2 years.

• Develop and update internal policies and procedures, processes, forms, standard documents and templates for ASP;
• Coordinate operational activities aiming to maintain compliance with legal requirement;
• Identify compliance issues;
• Oversee and monitor compliance with data protection regulations;
• Provide recommendations on best practices implementation of CySEC’s regulatory requirements;
• Liaise with other departments when required in order to maintain CySEC standards
• Enforce AML standards & procedures;
• Prepare and submit Reports to CySEC
• Follow up with national and EU legal/regulatory developments (organize internal procedure based on current and prospective regulations);
• Prepare or organize required periodic reports as per the regulations
• Assist with coordination of internal/external auditors
• Ensuring all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes

• At least 2 years of previous experience as a Compliance Officer;
• CySec Advanced certificate is considered as an advantage;
• Advance knowledge of English;  Fluency in Russian will be considered an advantage
• In depth knowledge of AML processes
• Ability to work independently.
