- Write and optimize in-application SQL statements
- Create ETL solutions that capture data from multiple systems and transform in a unified format
- Participate in the design, development, and analysis of data architecture and warehousing approaches
- Ensure performance, security and availability of databases
- Prepare documentations and specifications
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
- Create data visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Collaborate with other team members, middle and top management
- Translate business needs to technical specifications
Requirements
- University Degree in Computer Science or any other related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and creating reporting databases
- Excellent command of the Greek and English language
- Proficiency with SQL scripting and its variation among popular databases
- Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
- Experience with designing and managing relational databases
- Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of ETL techniques by utilizing SSIS packages will be considered as an advantage
- Knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services will be considered as an advantage
- Knowledge of a Business Intelligence tool (most preferable Power BI) will be considered as an advantage
- Relevant experience in the Financial Services industry will be considered as an advantage
