CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a well-established and expanding provider of Corporate, Tax & Fiduciary Services, we are seeking to recruit an experienced and capable Senior Client Accountant to join their expanding team of professionals in Nicosia. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience and be a full member of a professional accounting body.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Record bookkeeping transactions and prepare financial statements of client companies.
- Preparation of management accounts for client companies.
- Preparation of VAT returns and handling of VAT issues for client companies.
- Monitor and train the current accountant (and be accountable for their performance in general).
Key Skills/Experience:
- 10+ years of relevant working experience in an international accounting environment.
- ACCA/ACA qualified
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- High responsiveness level and dedication to excel.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/MS excel (sort, pivot tables).
