Network Engineer

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a newly established company operating in the Online Gaming sector, we are seeking to recruit an Network Engineer to join their team of professionals in Nicosia. The successful applicant will have previous relevant and demonstrable professional experience and be fluent in English. Knowledge of the Russian language will be considered a significant advantage.

• Exploitation of existing networks and network services.
• Implementing changes to the data network.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance as part of network operation.
• Participation in modernization as part of the operation of the network.
• Maintaining documentation on the status of the data network.
• Studying new technologies and making suggestions for improving and optimizing the operation of active network equipment.

• Experience with equipment Juniper, Cisco, Mikrotik.
• Experience in building corporate L2 and L3 networks.
• Experience in building a VPN.
• Knowledge of network technologies, protocols, services: IPv4, IPv6, VRRP, STP \ RSTP \ MSTP, ACL, NAT, DHCP, SNMP, QoS, CoS.
• Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, RIP).
• Knowledge of network diagnostic tools (monitoring systems, analysis, and debugging tools).
• Knowledge and understanding of network security technologies.
• Experience with RIPE NCC.
• Certifications (JNCA, CCNA, CCNP) are desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal English, Russian would be considered an advantage.
