Job Description

Our client is a leading international online gaming and sports betting company that are in the process of expanding their operations to Cyprus. With over 500 staff and established in 1998, Cyprus is their latest addition to their network of offices and they are looking for an Operations Director who can lead and manage their operations for Cyprus.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

Effective leadership of the team (Sports Operations and Trading, Customer Service, IT, Administration/logistics);
Summarizing the information, identifying trends and proposing relevant actions;
Maintaining quality service by enforcing quality and service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements;
Managing internal and external service suppliers;
Developing plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs;
Constant subordinates performance/process review, constant improvements in order to achieve operational excellence;
Maintaining continuous and properly organized communication flow within team;
Maintaining staff management processes by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, developing and supervising subordinates.

Candidate Profile

Minimum 3 years of Managerial experience;
Thorough Knowledge of Sports Operations;
Fluency in English and Greek;
Working experience in the field of Online Sports and Gambling, Customer Experience/ Retention/ Products Management is highly recommended;
Addressing high-level strategic and business issues, detail-oriented and operationally focused;
Ability to adapt, execute 360º and coordinate with all departments in a company;
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to move easily between commercial, operational and product discussions.
