Job Overview
Our client, an International Media Solutions Company, is looking to hire an experienced Java Developer for their office in Limassol.
Responsibilities:
Participation in code writing and architecture design of the SmartCARE monitoring system
Interaction with testers and developers of other platform components
Requirements:
Experience in developing server Java applications from 3 years
Experience in developing streaming applications (using Apache Spark Streaming, Apache Kafka)
SQL experience, database operating principles (Postress, Oracle)
Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB)
Experience with HTTP, XML, XSD, JSON
Experience in developing RESTful services
Understanding application design principles, patterns
Understanding the principles of building multi-threaded systems
Experience with Maven
Experience with GIT, Gerrit
Linux user experience
Technical English
Teamwork skills
Ability to understand other people’s code if necessary, refactoring experience
EU-citizen
Preferably:
Experience with Akka, Elasticsearch
Experience with Go lang
Experience with Docker
Experience in developing high-load server Java applications, understanding the principles of server application optimization
