A rapidly expanding group of companies are working with GRS to recruit a Senior IT Account Manager to join their Limassol Investment division. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior level IT role, with a high fluency in English. You will act as the liaison with the overseas IT team, and 3rd party IT service providers here in Cyprus, ensuring a robust, secure and IT infrastructure. Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide overall direction and management of all technology related activities and projects within the Company.
- Work with the CIO and IT department to coordinate IT architecture decisions, allocate IT resources to projects and tasks, reuse IT assets and knowledge where applicable and efficient
- Bear responsibility for outlining the Company’s technological vision, implement technology strategies, processes and policies and ensure that the technological resources both in-house and outsourced are aligned with the Company’s business needs.
- Set a vision for how technology will be used in the company.
- Communicate technology strategy to C-suite/Board.
- Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
- Facilitate resolution of user issues.
- work with Head Office IT to manage IT resource required to ensure timely and efficient development and deployment of all technological services.
- Provide input to executive decisions on behalf of the company’s technological requirements.
- Set out performance metrics and to monitor performance KPIs.
- Liaise with all department heads to develop and implement a proper digital landscape.
- Work with CISO to ensure that organizational and technical security measures are in place and updated regularly
Candidate Profile
- Advanced technological skill set and a demonstrated history with technology
- A minimum of 2 years of previous senior level experience in Head of IT/CTO role in asset/wealth management or investment banking preferably in international/global Firms.
- Master’s degree in technical disciplines (Mathematics/Computer Science/Physics etc).
- Knowledge and/or good understanding of IT infrastructure, IT Service Management, Business Applications Support, Software Development, Project Management.
- Knowledge of asset/wealth management and financial markets.
- Excellent English communication (oral and written) skills, with Russian being advantageous.
- Previous experience and/or knowledge of regulated environment and ability to work in it.
- Excellent organisational, communication and people skills.
- Maintain a high level of competency, with Continued Professional Development (CPD).
