One of the world’s largest financial services companies are working with GRS to recruit a KYC Team Leader to join their rapidly expanding Limassol operation. The successful candidate will have strong Back Office administration skills, along with previous experience in supervising a team. Main Duties And Responsibilities
  • Process owner for client KYC and on-boarding
  • Oversee and execute due diligence on clients’ accounts, including account verification and screening
  • Verification and monitoring of Know Your Customer documentation in accordance with internal policies and procedures
  • Ensure KYC and onboarding are performed accurately and on time
  • Work within the Risk and Compliance departments to ensure the KYC process performed are in line with compliance with latest rules, guidelines, regulations and policies
  • Collaboration with other internal departments on verification and risk tasks, ensuring timely and seamless client onboarding
  • Manage relationships with external entities in audit exercises
  • Provide management reporting, around Risk, including KPIs and SLAs, including regular weekly and monthly updates around the area of responsibility
  • Proactively monitor the KYC process and identifies improvement opportunities both process and technical
  • Coordinate and drive investigations and analysis on KYC challenges
  • Maintain accurate records of tasks
  • Has supervisory responsibility over the process; expected to take initiative, delegate effectively, and communicate clearly, accurately and concisely
Candidate Profile
  • Educated to university degree level
  • A high fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A minimum of 2 years’ previous KYC experience within back office administration
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
  • Detail oriented and focused
  • Capacity to perform repetitive tasks and work under pressure with strict deadlines
  • Open mind and willingness to learn
  • Strong sense of professionalism and teamwork
