Our Client, an asset management company in Nicosia, is currently recruiting an In-House Lawyer for a 12-month employment contract. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in personal data and/or corporate legal matters and fluency in Greek and English at a professional level. Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide uninterrupted legal support, opinions and advice to the Company on legal issues that concern or affect its operations
- Revisions, amendments and/or opinions (including the preparation of relevant documents and/or circulars) in relation to proposed legislation, directives of the Central Bank of Cyprus, directives/regulations of the European Union
- Study of the existing legislations and regulations that concern or affect the operations of the Company and coordination with the other services of the Company for the execution of any necessary actions
- Provide suggestions for the optimization of the Company’s policies and procedures to comply with the relevant institutional framework
Candidate Profile
- University Degree and Master of Laws (LLB and LLM/MA) from a University Institution of a Member State of the European Union
- Master of Laws (LLM/MA) in Corporate Law or Finance will be considered an additional qualification
- Cyprus BAR qualified lawyer
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in personal data and/or corporate matters will be considered highly advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Integrity of character, professional ethics, responsibility, initiative, and discretion
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages

- Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30-15:00 and Friday 7:30-14:30
