About the role

Company Description

We are SkillOnNet, leading the igaming entertainment by providing our customers with the most entertaining and trustworthy experience possible, while also reinventing the gambling industry. We are home to more than 30 well-known brands, including PlayOJO, DruckGluck, BacanaPlay, Genting, and many more. We are committed to long-term development and sustainability, and we are trying to revolutionise our industry for the benefit of our players, ourselves, and the entertainment industry as a whole.

Job Description

As a Technical Compliance Officer you will support and oversee compliance with technical and system-based regulatory requirements across SkillOnNet’s regulated markets. The role combines regulatory interpretation, platform compliance, regulatory reporting, data investigation, player protection controls, certification, incident management, and new-market implementation. You will work closely with Compliance, Product, Business Analytics, Development, Operations, Safer Gambling, Legal, external service providers, testing laboratories, and regulators.

Candidates with relevant transferable experience in compliance, testing, quality assurance, data analysis, product operations, or other regulated technology environments will also be considered. Role-specific training will be provided on SkillOnNet’s systems, regulatory integrations, and internal compliance processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Take ownership of technical compliance matters for assigned licences and jurisdictions, managing priorities, deadlines and related regulatory workstreams.

• Monitor changes to legislation, technical standards, regulatory guidance, and reporting requirements, and assess their impact on the platform, products, integrations, and operational processes.

• Translate regulatory requirements into clear actions for Product, Development, BI and other internal teams, including structured requirements covering the regulatory basis, current behaviour, required solution, and acceptance criteria.

• Review proposed technical solutions and supporting test evidence to confirm that the complete regulatory requirement has been addressed.

• Oversee regulatory integrations, reporting systems and data submissions relating to player status, self-exclusion, player limits, activity reporting, and other regulatory controls.

• Investigate rejected, missing, duplicated, delayed, or incorrectly reported records by reviewing system events, request-and-response histories, timestamps, identifiers, errors, and transaction data.

• Coordinate the correction, regeneration, resubmission, and reconciliation of regulatory data, collaborating with relevant teams to identify and resolve the root cause of discrepancies.

• Assess technical compliance incidents, determine their regulatory and player impact, and coordinate containment, remediation, regulator communication, and corrective actions.

• Coordinate game, RNG, platform, jackpot, and system certifications, including determining whether changes require internal testing, laboratory assessment, recertification, regulator notification, or prior approval.

• Liaise with regulators, testing laboratories, service providers and other external stakeholders, maintaining accurate documentation, certification records, implementation evidence, and audit trails.

• Support audits, inspections, and licence applications by preparing technical evidence and monitoring dependencies such as certificates, endpoints, credentials, and integration access.

• Perform technical gap assessments for new licences and market launches, coordinating required platform changes, integrations, reporting solutions, certifications, testing, and compliance sign-off.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical compliance or regulatory technology roles within online gambling

• Ideally a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field such as law, finance, risk management, information technology, or a similar discipline

• Knowledge of regulatory technical standards and certification processes

• Experience liaising with test labs (e.g., GLI, eCOGRA, SIQ, BMM, etc.)

• Proven experience leading the technical requirements for new licence launches (end‑to‑end planning and execution)

• Strong analytical and documentation skills

• Ability to work independently and manage projects across multiple jurisdictions.

• Excellent communication and coordination abilities

• Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision, take ownership of assigned licences, proactively identify areas of non-compliance, and drive appropriate solutions.

Technical capability

The successful candidate is not required to be a software developer but should be comfortable working with, or willing to learn, the following:

• XML, JSON, CSV, and other structured data formats.

• API and system request-and-response flows.

• Logs, timestamps, record identifiers, and error messages.

• Data extracts and regulatory reports.

• Regulatory reporting schemas and validation rules.

What’s in it for YOU?

• Attractive Relocation Package (flights, airport transportation, temporary accommodation)

• Medical insurance covered by the company under Comprehensive plan from day 1.

• Excellent work environment

• Monetary vouchers on Birthdays and other special occasions

• Potential tax advantages: New tax residents in Cyprus may be eligible for favourable income tax rates on their first employment in the country, subject to individual eligibility under Cypriot tax regulations.

• Fully equipped kitchen and in-house entertaining space

• Possibilities to enrol in Company’s pension plan.

• Exciting company activities including monthly lunches, corporate gatherings, an intercompany football team, competitions, and many other activities

• Casual dress code

• A chance to advance professionally inside one of the world’s largest iGaming organisations.
