Job Description

A boutique Accounting and Audit firm is looking to hire a Junior Accountant to join their team in Limassol.  The successful candidate must have at least 1 years’ experience as an Accountant and speak fluent Greek.  Our client established since 1995 are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will be eager to learn and continually improve in their development. Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Book-keeping for all companies under the assigned portfolio
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual management accounts
• Preparation and submission of monthly VIES Forms and quarterly VAT Returns Forms
• Providing basic tax and VAT advice, as may be required
• Performing computations of tax penalties and assisting clients with effecting tax payments
• Attending to auditors’ queries and assisting them in completing the companies’ audit
• Attending client meetings and analysing any queries they may have in relation to their company’s accounting position / tax affairs

Candidate Profile

• Holder of LCCI Higher Certification in Book-keeping or University Degree in Accounting or related fields is a must
• Experience in a similar role would be considered as an advantage
• Fluency in English and Greek languages at a professional level
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Keen attention to detail
• Conscientious positive outlook and willingness to learn and increase knowledge
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook
